• STAYING IN THE PLACE OF PRAYERS.

In the heart of a small village, there stood a centuries-old chapel. Its timeworn stones bore witness to countless prayers and whispered hopes.

Every night, as the world slept, an old watchman named Samuel would make his way to the chapel. With a lantern in hand and a heart filled with reverence, he would settle in the back pew, beneath the glow of the stained-glass window.

One fateful night, a wild storm swept through the village, fierce and unrelenting. The wind howled and rain lashed against the chapel's windows, threatening to breach the sacred sanctuary.

Yet, Samuel remained steadfast. He knew his place was here, in the house of God, where he found solace and strength in the act of prayer. He raised his voice, his words mingling with the roar of the tempest, as he interceded for the safety of his people.

As dawn broke, the storm began to wane, leaving behind a world cleansed by nature's fury. Samuel, still kneeling, felt a profound sense of peace wash over him. His prayers had been heard.

Word of Samuel's vigilance and prayers spread throughout the village, and soon, others began to join him in the chapel's sacred embrace. Together, they formed a nightly assembly of prayer warriors, seeking God's protection and guidance.

Through the seasons, the chapel became a beacon of hope. The weary and burdened would find their way to its doors, knowing that within those hallowed walls, they could find respite and renewal. It taught the village that in the moments of life's fiercest storms, when uncertainty looms and darkness threatens, there is a sanctuary in God's presence.

  • The man called JESUS
Oh what greater love is this🥺
If only we knew how compassionate our Lord Jesus is, we won't even be moved by the trials and tribulations of life
You're wondering how much of compassion did Lord Jesus have?
Harrrr it's so much, like oh plenri pa
Oya that your two hands, use them to carry your Bible ehnn, I know say most of us na since Sunday we touch our bible last🌚

Jesus compassion for his people is endless. You're like ehnn, normal na, who doesn't know that, but do you really have any idea of how much of compassion he has, oh so great is his love and kindness that it can't be quantified.

Let's make do with John 17.
Did you know that throughout this chapter that all Jesus did was to intercede and beseech God on behalf of his disciples and for those who will later on hear the word and stay true to it.
He never for once asked for strength, nor glory, ahhh neither did he try glorifying or exalting himself. Oh sweet lover.

You're probably wondering what's the hype all about? Okay take for instance, that as a person you know that the hour where you'll be beaten, insulted, afflicted with various pains and agony is drawing neigh, how would your reaction be towards those around you? Sho get, like you will definitely look for means, ways, or medium to lessen such sufferings, infact we'd look for a way to evade such situations, but what did our dear Lord do, he interceded on behalf of his followers, on behalf of those who heard his words, and hearken onto them, infact he pleaded that we all be in him and God himself, imagine such access we've gotten through his intercession, and yet you think he's not full of compassion or kindness, tah come of it, stop joking.

Jesus love cannot be estimated, harrrrr even the same John chapter 11 the verse 33 of it "When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping, which came with her, he groaned in the spirit and was troubled". Who said Jesus doesn't feel the pain of the afflicted around him,in the same chapter the verse 35,"Jesus wept". Ehiiii a whole holies of the holies wept🥺🥺🥺. He is so filled with compassion and kindness there's no arguing about it, imagine despite knowing he was going to be betrayed, insulted, humiliated, he wasn't bothered about his situation to come, however about his disciples that he'll be leaving behind, he ensured that he had prepared ahead of them access to God and to him. Tell me who else can do such compassionate act?

Why won't you cheer in him? Why won't you live and be in him? Why won't you align yourself with his will and desires for us?
As believers, how great is our compassion to those around us? Do we allow the situation and hardship we face overshadow us?
Look at Jesus, despite knowing the suffering that awaits him, still took his time praying to God to keep them that knows him, so that we may behold God's glory just as he has. Chai sweet lover. What greater love is there than this?

Nothing beats having a compassionate heart. As believers do you check up on those around you? Those little calm, kind and soothing words from you will go a long way in making someone happy and hopeful.

This is a charge to everyone reading, have a compassionate heart, do not let life challenges turn you to an uncompassionate individual. If as followers of Christ Jesus whom showed kindness and compassion all through his lifetime while on earth, it is expected of us all that we show compassion and kindness to those around us, be it convenient for us or not, show compassion and love always wherever you may find yourself.
